2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce

2 pounds skinless chicken thighs

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 onion, sliced

4 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter

    Step 1 (Mix soy sauce, garlic, hot pepper sauce, and ginger in a large bowl. Add chicken and coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.)

    Step 2 (Remove chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Keep the marinade in the bowl.)

    Step 3 (Heat sesame oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add water and the marinade. Bring to a boil.)

    Step 4 (Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Add peanut butter and stir until combined. Simmer for 10 more minutes. Transfer chicken to a serving platter. Pour the sauce over the chicken and garnish with green onions.)
