Ingredients 7
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound beef cube steaks
0.5 cup olive oil
2 cups beef broth
Instructions
-
1
Get your ingredients together and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
-
2
Mix flour, black pepper, seasoned salt, and garlic powder together in a shallow bowl. Coat the cube steaks well with the flour mixture, patting the flour on so they get a good coating.
-
3
Retain 3 tablespoons of seasoned flour.
-
4
Heat up some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry cube steaks until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Put the steaks into a 9x12-inch baking dish.
-
5
Whisk retained seasoned flour into beef broth until smooth.
-
6
Pour the broth over the steaks. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
-
7
Bake in the preheated oven for about 2 hours until the meat is tender and the gravy has thickened.
