6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 teaspoon garlic salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion, thinly sliced

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes

    Step 1 (Sprinkle garlic salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.)

    Step 2 (Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden, then add sliced onions and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes more.)

    Step 3 (Add canned tomatoes and balsamic vinegar to the pan. Season with basil, oregano, rosemary and thyme. Simmer covered for 15 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internally and juices run clear.)
